PROFINET  Encoder

The 58_C series multi turn encoder,

equipped with PROFINET interface and utilizing optical sensing technology,

can be ideally applied in the field of PROFINET interface.

What is an encoder:

Encoder is a digital IC used for encoding.

By encoding, what we mean is to generate a digital binary code for each input.

Encoder ICs typically include an enable pin,

which is typically set to a high level to indicate operation. It consists of 2 ^ n input lines and n output lines,

each represented by a zero and one code and reflected on the output line.

In RF communication, encoders can also be used to convert parallel data into serial data.

The encoder can track two different types of motion.

Linear encoder tracks motion along a straight line.

Rotary encoders can track changes in shaft rotation and are typically installed on electric motors.
